Common Questions.
Do I need to own any equipment?
No. All equipment is provided during sessions. If you already own gear, Batman can work with your setup as well.
Which class level is right for me?
Never touched DJ equipment? Start with Foundations. Can beat match and do basic blends? Try Intermediate. Working DJ looking to add scratch? Go Pro Level. Not sure -- reach out and Batman will point you in the right direction.
How long does it take to get good?
Depends on how often you practice between sessions. Most beginners are performing basic mixes within 4-6 sessions. Scratch technique takes longer -- it's a separate motor skill.
What software do you teach on?
Both Serato DJ Pro and Rekordbox, so students understand the industry standard tools regardless of which one they end up preferring.
Can I buy sessions in a bundle?
Yes -- see the Pricing page for the Monthly and 3-Month rates, which save you money over paying week to week.
Where are classes held?
Classes are held at the Unique Institute of Music studio in Atlanta, GA. Address details are provided after booking.
